This both saddens me and it gives me a sliver of hope that if it does well enough we will see another entry into the Legacy of Kain series.

The moment they said, "Online multiplayer between two factions," I lost interest. So it's WoW with vampires instead of orcs.

And three years later, Squeenix has killed Nosgoth before it was even released. I guess they had to devote more resources to turning the Final Fantasy VII remake into 27 different games.
