I'm a fan of sim games (except I couldn't really get into "The Sims"). Banished is an indie city simulation that just came onto my radar. It's a medieval setting, which piqued my interest. The biggest resource of the game is your townspeople as individuals. The game is less about expanding a megacity and more about seeing if you can create a town that allows your people to survive and thrive. I'm all about interesting takes on city building. This game is slated for release "mid to late 2013." |
