So while I really like my slim, light Apple Bluetooth, it's connection is getting spotty.

And there's nothing like pulling a raid boss because your connection cut out while you were running to set up, and you couldn't mouse-turn fast enough to stop.

So I'm looking for a good, simple keyboard that's reliable and fast/comfortable to type on. Don't really need a lot of bells and whistles.

I'm looking at the G510s from Logitech, largely because it's on sale atm, and, well, it's on sale.

The other one that interests me is the Razer Blackwidow Tournament Stealth- MX Brown switches, mechanical, and compact.

Any other suggestions?

I'm also considering the new G602 mouse, but on the other hand, 4 buttons works fine for me atm.

You can have my wired G15 and R.A.T. when you pry them from my cold, dead fingers. I have zero patience for wireless input devices dropping connections while gaming.

I'm not a fan of wireless keyboards for desktop applications, but wired mice have always driven me batshit.

That's why I love my Trackman Marble. I don't have to worry about where the wire is because the device itself remains in one place.

I agree. Every laptop I own or use for work has it's own wireless trackman. Never have to move it once planted, runs off of 1 AA battery that lasts over a year.

I usually play lounging back with the keyboard in my lap, so I generally prefer wireless keyboards. Never had this much trouble with connections dropping with my Logitech Wave, though.

Hmm, anyone have experience with CM keyboards?

I like that I can get MX Browns in a compact format with no extra frills for a very nice price.

Oh... Stealth... Pretty!

So, Das Keyboard knockoff?

Yes. Without the price.

Wouldn't exactly call it a Das Keyboard knockoff, since there are several other companies with similar higher-end ones.

Also, Das doesn't sell compact keyboards (ie, no numpad).

And you can't choose your switches- from what I can see of Das, the main model only uses MX Blues.

Das Keyboard was the first one I became aware of, so I tend to think of all the others as knockoffs.

Fair point about the compact version - I don't look for numpad-less keyboards, so wouldn't have thought of that.

The only model that is only available with the MX Blue switches is the Mac model. The "Ultimate" (blank keys) can be purchased with either blue or brown, and the "Professional" (printed keys) can be purchased with blue, brown, or red switches.
