I figured I'd let people have that little moment of joy by not titling the thread appropriately. I'll edit it tomorrow. |

Please let this not be a Fallout Online announcement. I'm not sure I could handle that. |

I don't play Fallout (I tried, multiple times, but just no), but that trailer didn't make me want to give it a go the way Fallout 3's stylish and self-assured teaser did for that game. |

Oh. Its in Boston. Ugh. No wonder I didn't recognize anything there. |

I'm sure I'll be debilitated by all the open world sandbox options, as always happens to me, but this is a pretty good looking Fallout world. |

I never did finish Fallout 3, but that won't stop me from enjoying what time I put in not finishing Fallout 4. |

As someone who lives near Boston and been there many times, I didn't recognize much either. The Constitution with jet engines strapped to it was a nice touch though |

I played the original Fallout for a few hours. I liked it, but for whatever reason that may or may not have been EverQuest-related I never went back to it. I was not favorably inclined towards the shift to an action-rpg first-person shooter that happened with Fallout 3. |

Well I am guessing that the good news is, that if you liked Fallout 3, this will be a game for you. I enjoyed the hell out of it. |

Don't know diddly about CoD, but with the wiki articles stating that Dogmeat goes all the way back to the first Fallout game while Riley was introduced in 2013 ... if there's any connection between the two, I'd call Riley "the dog from Fallout" rather than referring to Dogmeat as "the dog from CoD". Just sayin' |

Well <pedantry>*Technically* Dogmeat is a nod to the dog from The Road Warrior. Who was a Blue Heeler.</pedantry> Who was also in the Original Fallout played by a random mutt with a sort of scrappy yet lovable panache. But he's a German Shepherd Dog now. Played by the dog that played Riley in CoD |

We've had info on Fallout 4 for almost exactly 1 year now.. It's just that nobody believed it and ridiculed the person who made the info known. |
