After the quality of the last 2 PC ports ... I think Vindicarre has the right idea.

Totally possible. Or maybe, 3rd time's the charm!

Shush Khross you never even played DS2.

Vindi, WELCOME. DS3 is looking pretty amazing.

Actually, I did. I found it intriguing and engagingly challenging. Unfortunately, you couldn't aim ranged weapons in the PC Port, so I stopped playing.

I also had to get a 3rd party patch to unlock the resolution and frame rate.

You can aim bows. We've had this discussion. You probably tried to use crossbows which don't offer a reticle or zoom. If you are talking about spells, you can aim using the binoculars.

Hello darkness my old friend...Bump!

Game goes live today at 3pm PDT.

Did you get it, Vindi? I went with the PC release for 60 fps goodness.

Really surprised at how well this game runs. 6 year old box with an R9 390 and I only notice an occasional stutter. Smooth like pudding 99% of the time.

I have discovered a giant tree boss that you hurt by hitting in the eggsack.

Love it.

It's the perfect combination of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, minus the shitty mechanics (soul level, mobs despawning) from DS2.

I am 20+ hours in and level 42 or so. By this time in DS2 I'd probably be over level 100 just by exploiting bonfire ascetics which don't exist in this one.

Apparently there are some ultimate type weapons that require NG+ since you combine two different weapons made by the same boss soul. Sounds fun but can't confirm myself yet. Weapon arts make choosing a favorite weapon IMPOSSIBLE for me.

Last bit of rambling, there's no level limit on summoning a friend with a password. The higher level char just gets scaled down.

I only just started it last night. Had a lot of crashing issues that I never had with 1 or 2 but read about a workaround by lowering the light settings; plays fine now, so far. I've only done the tutorial area and oh my god I'm bad. I never played Bloodborne since no console so I wasn't used to the fast play style, and I always relied too much on using a shield in 1 and 2. It took me forever just to beat the damn tutorial boss in Dark Souls 3. Not a good sign. But it's great so far.

Finishing up my first game around level 75 and 50 hours in case anyone was curious. Many quest lines I wasn't able to complete 100% so I definitely have to go through again.

Still best Souls.

I have a huge backlog, so waiting to pick this up, but thanks to this post I am much more excited. Always nice to hear they nailed it.
