Jacob, age 6, was popping off about what a great starfighter pilot he is. How he is the best pilot in the family. I naturally felt the need to (gently, of course) put the young whippersnapper into his place. Daddy's a gamer, you see, and not going to take it from his otherwise perfect oldest son. We turn on the quaint old Gamecube to fire up Rebel Strike, I let my son pick the settings (because it really doesn't matter since he's going to just barely lose, regardless) and we proceed to dogfight. Cut to the end... Jacob and Christopher (age 3) are jumping up and down on the couch. I'm looking at the final score: Jacob, age 6: 22 kills l33t gamer dad: 12 kills PWNED!!! |
