I'm still not sold on either, tbh. MS's Natal looks like a glorified Eye Toy, and the Sony Arc (supposedly its official name now) looks like a glorified Wiimote.
The software will be the ultimate determining factor for me. Will what I can use these gadgets for be worth the price I am paying for the hardware?
Looking at it from an optimistic POV -- they both fit a different niche. Natal is more for the hands-free, let your body be the controller approach; the Arc takes a more traditional, something real I can feel and manipulate approach.
My best advice would be to watch the software and see which appeals to you more. Price point is largely superficial (to a point), because gaming systems are pseudo-investments.
