So XBox 360 won the poll hands down. Now which should I get and why please? The only glaring differences I can see is the hard drive size and I have no idea how important that is for XBox. |

You should get the Elite, because it's black. |

With the Elite, you don't have to worry about deleting stuff to free up disk space for DLC and the like. There are many fine games out there you can download from the marketplace, including some original Xbox games that you may not have played. |

Wait until the Splinter Cell Special Edition comes out, get one of those. 250g Hard Drive, and I think it's only as expensive as the Elite? |

1) Buy Arcade 2) Buy a 250gb WD Hard Drive 3) Buy a 360 HDD Enclosure 4) Upgrade it yourself 5) Profit If you don't wanna bother, wait until the Splinter Cell Elite is released :p |

Ummm... I've never found that I've needed to delete anything... ever... and I haven't even dented my hard drive space on the Pro console. |

Remember, you can copy any game to your hard drive now to save wear and tear on your Xbox drive, as well as decreasing the load times. So you definitely want to go with the big hard drive. I recommended the Elite because typically, they seem to be the most reliable hardware. |

Which I would recommend doing. Not only does it make the console run quieter, it also reduces the wear and tear on the console making it last longer. |

whichever has the bigger hard drive. It is more space for DLC, loading games to the console, etc. I just got my elite.. I have every game I play loaded onto it and still have 30Gb free space. And that is with a lot of DLC and downloaded marketplace games (like PA episodes 1 and 2) |

Not to mention faster load times. Faster still if you do it yourself and get a 7200 rpm drive instead of the 5400. |

Elite. Nice all-inclusive system. I am long past having the energy or drive to piece meal systems/PCs. |

I'm an ultra casual gamer these days, and had no idea this even existed. I'm gonna play around with this tonight. You may have just changed my life. |

Upgrading the hard drive later is expensive. Now that you can play games from the HDD, and all of the advantages that go along with that, the Elite is clearly the best choice... according to me. :p |

Since you are all the only serious gamers I know... is this a good deal? http://www.amazon.com/Final-Fantasy-XII ... 320&sr=1-3 Quote: What’s in the Box • Xbox 360 Console • Final Fantasy XIII (Rated “T” for Teen.) • Xbox 360 250GB Hard Drive • 2 Xbox 360 Wireless Controllers • 1 Xbox 360 Wired Headset • 1 Ethernet cable • 1 Standard definition Xbox 360 Composite A/V cable And what else should I purchase to be up and running immediately? |

You're going to need an HDMI cable, assuming you've got an hdtv. |

If playing your FPS games online appeals to you, you'll also need an X-Box Live subscription card (I recommend buying the cards rather than entering your CC number, because it's notoriously hard to get rid of the CC # in their records once you give it to them). |

Definitely worth getting the XBox live membership, you can usually find a deal on a 12 month card for under 40 bucks. I just renewed mine a few months ago for like 36 bucks or so. Plus, if you use NetFlix, you can stream videos with the gold membership. |

Just don't let the size of the hard drive determine which model you get. You can upgrade the hard drive for a fraction of the price MS charges. http://www.pcworld.com/article/150970/u ... cheap.html |
