The game has been updated.

The ending has changed.

This is all I will say.

Have fun.

I just saw over on Ars that Portal 2 has been officially announced. No other details except that it will be its own separate release.

I've been wanting to try this, perhaps now would be the time.

You have time, the game is short. If you put your mind to it, you could finish it in one sitting. Lord knows I have done it once or twice.

Yeah, depending on how quickly you wrap your head around the puzzles and spatial re-orientation that Portal involves you in, a first run-through is probably anywhere between an hour and a half to 4 hours. I think my first game clocked right around the 2 hour mark.

Talk about frustrating. I assumed that the radio had something to do with it and I was finding the radio and taking it to the end and vaporizing it in the exit barrier. Imagine my surprise when I was taking up the radio on the 16th level and received a 1/26 achievement. =(

One would think you'd at least stumble over something somewhere before that! So, a couple hours of playing = nothing. I just shut off the computer at that point and I'l l try again this weekend or something.

Spoiler:
I assume now, that the achievements are unlocked by taking the radio to a certain spot within each zone and receiving the morse code (sounded like to me) signal. If that concept is not correct and someone that knows what to do cares to share some info, please spoiler here or PM me. Thanks.

That is correct Gorse, you have to move the radio to the right spot.

Bought the Orange Box package, and tried this out. Amusing little puzzler with just the right difficulty level (at least for my brain so far).

Spoiler:
What was the ending change? I did an entire run-through this weekend and after a LOT of crawling in the corners (and getting lucky hearing the music making that one jump on level 15/16?) I got all 26 radios solved.

The ending seemed normal. I did hear something like "thank you for assuming the Appature Science whatever position" which I could not recall if I had before, otherwise everything looked exactly the same to me. Again, did I miss something?

Spoiler:
In the first ending you just laid there while bits are parts came down around you. The whole 'compliance position' thing is what was added. They are taking you away.

Spoiler:
Ah. I didn't get that. The ending video was the exact same one. I recall there being a bit of noise at the time (7 year old and her friend in the next room shaking the house kind of thing) and not hearing what was said, but could not recall anything different about any part of the video.
