Just ran into something weird as hell, figured I'd post in case someone else ran into it.
Apparently, if you have a 360 running dolby digital over HDMI and the lipsync on your receiver gets turned on, all of a sudden the receiver only reads a Prologic II/stereo signal.
I just looked over at my receiver last night and realized it wasn't in DD mode while playing Mass Effect 2. Did some research, verified all the settings, and nothing changed. Finally started searching on it, and found out that some other people with onkyo's were having this issue when lipsync was on (someone mentioned they fixed it that way in passing). Went into the menu, flipped it off, turned the 360 back on, BAM, right back in dolby digital.
Weird *** bug.
