Love it.
The single player campaign was alright but the multiplayer is fantastic.

I'm really disappointed that they didn't keep the tone of the first single player campaign. The story in BC2 is just as silly as MW2. I let the game sit and discovered some pretty funny chatter while waiting on the boat, but all the levity seems mostly to be hidden behind the overwrought Tom Clancy plot.

At least the MP is fun. I think the unlocks are kind of unfair to new players, since the unlocked weapons and skills are better than what you start with, but it's not overwhelmingly so.

The banter in the field during the single player campaign was amusing to me. *shrug*

Its very easy to farm up some points by flag raiding and just avoiding people until you feel geared up enough.

I think its BS that they show your killer and where he/she is after murdering you so that you can spawn and go after some vengeance.

Well, in the first BC, the banter was more prominent and there was more silliness in general. The story was lighthearted and not the serious business of MW, They just wanted to get some GOLD and to not die! I was watching someone play the first one a few days before BC2, and I think it took a turn for the more dramatic. Oh well.

I kind of wish they had a kill-cam like in MW2. BC is still a very different game from MW, despite both being an FPS. I kind of like BCs slower pace and you can contribute by doing something other than shooting people. I can't seem to get in any good squads that use team work though. :(

Only speak good of the dead.. good he's dead!

I thought the campaign was fun. MP has been a blast so far. The first 2 ranks or so were a ***** but after that it seemed to even out some.

Agreed. It was stupid that the basic medic kit doesn't include a well medic kit...

I've been loving this game. I've taken to playing it more then MW2, which is a nice step away from the unbalanced crap. Plus people seem to be hungry for footage so that's made doing gameplay commentaries pretty fun on Youtube.

If you want to rank up fast, just run around as a medic and the points will fly. Average of 8k-12k per full rush game.

You even get an achievement for it if you get a headshot with it. Oblivious recon's make the easiest targets. :)

Wait till you defib a guy to death.

Wow I am going to have to try this. They had the defib thing in BF2 and it was always fun to do. Of course when you are on the receiving end its like "I can't believe I just got shock paddled"

So I'm really struggling throughout my first two levels while competing online in this game. It may just be that I'm a little rusty with the mouse and keyboard, but I'm doing terrible. I'm hoping that new guns that are unlocked later will improve matters. As of right now, with the gun that you start out with in the assault class, I can unload an entire clip into a guys chest (with burst fire, not holding the trigger) and watch him laugh at me. Perhaps it's that higher levels have armor, as well as better guns, but I'm doing terrible. I can't kill people, even if I have them lined up, point blank, and I fire half a clip at their head. Obviously head shots are what you want, but an entire clip of ANY gun to the chest, with steady aim, should kill a person.

When I'm performing better, it's usually because I'm taking more deliberate shots. Only holding the trigger enough to maybe fire one or two bullets. It depends on the situation though. People go down pretty fast in BC2, but it's a slower pace than MW2. Sometimes I get stuck in a rut, because I keep making the same mistakes and not correcting myself. It's hard to give advice without seeing what you're doing.

I've noticed a dramatic change in my success since I switched to playing as an engineer. I don't know why, but the starting weapon as an engineer seems to be more effective in my hands than using the assault class. Not to mention, the RPG is really handy in getting rid of tanks.

If any of you guys are after some tips or gun stats & reviews I've done a few compilations of weapon breakdowns & other little tidbits. I've been told they're somewhat helpful.

So is this anything like the Original Battlefield 1942? Can you still control all the vehicles, aircraft carriers, submarines, planes, tanks, etc?? I havent played any of the Battlefields for 360 besides 1943. Loved them up till 2142 on the PC

You can control tanks(Several types), ATV's, Humvee's, Choppers(A few kinds.)

There aren't any subs or planes however.

Ugh unlocking all the recon kit is starting to feel like a grind. Any pointers?

If you've unlocked the G3, you can use that as a Recon and get kills without having to literally snipe people. The Thompson would work similarly.

Other then that, lots of spotting & tossing those motion sensors can help build up the points quickly.

Also, playing Rush seemed to give me the most points possible if the game went the full duration. Could easily come out with 9-12k exp earned.

I often use the first unlocked shotgun while running as Recon. Hell of a surprise for someone when they see me and get a shotty to the face. I think it is the closest to the original spec ops class in BF2.

Do you use slugs or normal shot gun shells? I can't seem to do well at all with standard shots.

With the standard shells I've found you have to get real close and personal.
