I have had a PSP 2000 for three years now, and the battery in it has been dead since I beat FFVII: Crisis Core. I finally decided to get a new battery with my GameStop credit and to be honest, I'm kind of excited about using it again. I've got the latest CFW (5.50 Gen-D3) on it, and some cool homebrew stuff like XMB organization, game save states, custom themes etc. I picked up Lair as well with my credit, which I understand has a remote play option, which is cool as well.

Anyone still play with a PSP?

Any recommended games?

I have one (a PSP-2000 as well), but I haven't turned it on in forever.

Still have one. Last game I played on it was the God of War one they have for it -- Chains of Olympus.

They also have these things called PSP Minis you can download from the PSN store that are pretty fun and cheap for a few hours of entertainment.

My wife has one, I've never played it, she has only played the Ratchet and Clank game on it. And I think she's played the Daxter game which came with it.

I got the PSP 3000 slim along with the battery shaped like a controller handle [gives me an extra 5 hours or so and improves the grip].

I usually play FF Tactics, Crisis Core, GoW Chains of Olympus, a couple of Prince of Persia games, or FFVII that I downloaded from PSN.

It was the only reason that I was still sane after my coast to midwest flight/return.

I have one... somewhere. The last time I turned it on was to watch Cowboy Bepop on a trip to/from Tampa... several years ago now...

I have no idea what happened to it.

They really need to breathe some new life into the PSP line. Either really develop some killer apps for the existing models, or phase out the existing models and come out with the updated PSP2.
