I've run into a bit of a problem. I don't know if I'll still be living in this state come the end of July, so I can't pre-order it at a store. And I don't know if I can change a shipping address after I've made a purchase. I really want that CE version, though. |

They've unlocked all of the AI levels for computer controlled opponents, so I should get some fun out of it before the game is released. Playing my brother's beta with the very easy AI was pathetically easy. |

Even better is that the beta ended yesterday(Monday). So I got to be in beta for a whole 3 days! Though, on the bright side...by this time next week, I'll have been playing Starcraft 2 for at least 2 hours. |

I wasn't sure I was going to buy this because my laptop is getting kind of old, but that was a pretty cool trailer and it looks like the story for the game will be exceptional. |

I'll probably buy this game........................................... ....................... ... .. ........ when it's actually finished, in one package, and not split up into thirds. But then I don't really play strategy games in multiplayer. If I did, I'd probably be all over this. |

Are they all released simultaneously? Is there a price point for each? |

The first SC2 game, Wings of Liberty, contains all multiplayer features, but it only contains the Terran campaign. Note that the Terran campaign is about 30 missions long, or as long as the entire SC1 game. At some point in the future, Blizzard will release an expansion pack (it may be standalone, or it may require WoL) which will contain the Zerg campaign. Then after that will be another expansion which contains the Protoss campaign. I don't know any pricing other than for WoL, which is $60 for the basic game and $100 for the CE. edit: According to the SC2 faq at starcraft2.com: Quote: How will the expansion sets impact multiplayer gameplay?
The expansion sets will add new content to each race for use in multiplayer matches. This could include additions such as new units, abilities, and structures, along with new maps and Battle.net updates. |
