So, theoretically speaking, if Sega were to get back into the console wars (and be competitive with the current ones, both in hardware and software), would you purchase it and why/why not? |

Depends on if they released a real Shining Force title instead of the button smashing crapfests the last two games I played with the Shining Force title or not. Also, a real Phantasy Star. If not, I can safely say no because the majority of Sega stuff is rather lame. I am completely serious I would buy a console for a single game. I did with the Wii and Fire Emblem. I would certainly buy a new Sega console for Shining Force or Phantasy Star. |

It would have to be pretty amazing to compete at this point. Heck, back when they were making the Dreamcast they were well ahead of the curve and they still couldn't keep it going. Honestly though, I just can't see them pulling it off. They can't even make a good sonic game these days. |

I would definately be interested. If they re-made the Original Shadowrun with an updated engine I would buy it in a heartbeat, I would love to have another Shadowrun game like that, or even close to it. There were so many great Sega master system and Genesis games I would love to play through again. I agree with Darkroland on this, I dont think they could pull it off, Sega has lost way to much to compete with MS/Sony and Nintendo now a day's. |

Dreamcast is home to a few of my favorite games of all time. Back then, I found gaming more enjoyable and original. With that said, they wouldn't ever be able to pull it off. |

Depends entirely on if they were to release a new version of Joe Montana's Football and get exclusive rights to Phantasy Star or not. |

Yet another console to further divvy up titles amongst hardware? I'll pass. Besides, there is built-in hate for Sega! Dum Genesis and their dum blood-having MK! |

Any game with the letters "SEGA" on the cover made within the last 5 years, has stunk up my living room. So, no, I wouldn't touch anything by them. They still owe me a great Hulk game. Bastards. |
