I see. I guess you need to be a member of the Bioware social community to view it. Which you should if you plan on getting the game, since if you upload a character to the network, you get a free ring that gives +1 to all stats. And I'm fairly certain it will be for all three versions of the game. Just have to have a character uploaded before November 3rd and you'll get the ring. |

Perhaps this is a bit too nit-picky of me, but I just watched this video: and I'm really turned off by the fact that there's no voice-acting for the player's part in conversation. Makes me feel like the player-controlled character is a mute, forced to communicate in sign language or cue cards. I don't <3 one-sided conversations |

He isn't mute. You are supposed to provide the voice for your character. |

Is this an online multiplayer game like WOW or is it a single player deal? |

It's a single player game for PC, 360, and PS3. Can't wait, my wife is getting it for me for our anniversary. |

How in the world could you never have heard of this game before? I've personally posted videos to it several times over the years. It's been in development since they finished the first Neverwinter Nights game. It is the spiritual successor to the Baldur's Gate series(my favorite RPGs of all time) created by the greatest RPG maker of all time. I've never been this exited about a game ever in my entire life. |

I've been looking forward to this game too. I got a chance to mess with the creator for about 20 minnutes last night. The detailing is very impressive. I hate the lighting in the face tweaking screen though. |

I had no idea this had been in development for so long, but I am also very excited! Looks amazing, and by buying a new copy you get really cool looking armor that you can use in both DA:origins and Mass Effect 2! P.S. Just to stir the fanboy rage, what are you guys planning to get this for? I would love to say PC, because i'm sure the modding community will be INSANE, but honestly, I think I will play it more on the 360. The surround sound system and big screen is better, and I just seem to unwind more on the couch instead of sitting in front of a computer after sitting in front of one all day. |

Clearly, I am so excited that I can't type properly. EDIT: Quote: P.S. Just to stir the fanboy rage, what are you guys planning to get this for? I say you are cheating yourself by purchasing it on a console. The PC version will be superior in every way. The main reason being you don't get the overhead view like in Baldur's Gate. Plus, there will be no modding, which sucks. I loved the modding community Neverwinter Nights has and most of those people will be moving over to Dragon Age. Plus, the game was designed for a PC and converted to consoles. It isn't like KotOR or even Mass Effect, which was designed for the X-box and ported to the PC. But, if you do have to get it for a console, the 360 is the way to go. Will likely get less technical difficulties with it(considering the experience Bioware already has with the platform) and it comes out at the same time as the PC version. PS3 version won't be out until the 17th. |

I am definitely getting it for the 360, for 2 reasons. 1. 52" 1080p LCD TV vs. 22" widescreen LCD monitor 2. The 360 can handle the game, my old and tired computer cannot. O' course, there's also a good reason I won't be getting it for the PS3. My wife is getting the new Ratchet and Clank, and the PS3 will be unavailable until further notice... |

I'm buying it for 360 because I don't care to sort through the dross for the gold, and because I tend to have Issues with PC gaming outside of MMOs as of late. |

I h9 mods. I think for the same reasons I h9 fan-fiction, but I'm not sure. Pretenders to the throne, or something along those lines. I greatly prefer gaming on a console, as an across-the-board rule. No system requirements to worry about, much better picture and sound in on the 46" TV with the 5.1 surround system, yadda yadda yadda. The only exceptions are MMORPGs, which require a lot of typing. I'll get it for the 360, but it won't be immediate. Not enough funds, not enough time, etc. It works out. I won't be able to play it until later, but it'll be much cheaper when I do get it. |

I dunno...I've played several NWN mods that had a better story than a lot of stuff professionals have put out as stand alone games. With the toolset, it's like I'm getting thousands of games for the price of one. And while I don't always agree with other people, the NWN vault had mods listed in order of most popular. Those ones on top are generally pretty solid and I'm sure there will be a Dragon age vault if there already isn't one that will have the same format. I do understand that consoles are more convienent because you don't have to worry about system requirements or you can play on your big screen TV...but don't a lot of video cards have connector thingers that can hook up to those big expensive TVs these days? |

Heh, my wife is already irritable with me playing console games on the big TV. I start doing it with the computer and heads will roll. Mine. And there will be other, more horrific side effects. |

I will probably get this for the 360 for two reasons... 1- I do not have a PS3. 2- I will not upgrade my computer just to play this. |

Can't wait for this game. Already purchased my Collector's Edition for PC. With the toolset for this, the mods are going to be awesome. Not only do you get the same control you had with NWN/NWN2 toolset, but you can also create your own cinema scenes and voice acting. And you have full control over all camera angles and facial expressions. Sweet! NWN had several mods that were 10 times better than the original campaign included with the game. In fact, I'd venture to say that the best thing about NWN was the toolset, and all of the possibilities it added to the game. |

Well, in all fairness...Neverwinter Nights was the toolset. The campaign included was just to demonstrate what you could do with it. |
