Sooooo... this game is pretty gorgeous. Controls are taking some getting-used-to because they're pretty different than CoD controls, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Big plus: Split screen co-op campaign Big neg: Split screen is vertical instead of horizontal, and it's offset so the two sides aren't lined up. Weird decision. Screenshots Spoiler: |

I don't have a PS3, but man, this video is making me want to pick one up with a Move, Killzone 3, and the Sharpshooter accessory. EDIT: Here's another one I found. |

Small note on account of no one else having it, but... the 3D quality in KZ3 is amazing. I'm honestly more impressed by the clarity and depth in this than I was by watching Avatar. Which isn't to say the graphics are better than Avatar, but the use of the tech certainly is. This game is making me look at purchasing some move controllers as well. |

So my buddy picked up Killzone, the Move, and the Sharpshooter the other day. I went over and played for a while today. Holy crap! What a great way to experience a first person shooter! I can't remember the last time I've had that much fun, even just going against a few bots in MP. I'm definitely going to get a setup like this sometime in the near future. I've been wanting a PS3 for a while now, and this just makes me want one even more. And the SOCOM4 bundle is looking pretty sweet right about now. |
