Please be good. I am intrigued. I need to watch for beta news. This is the sort of thing (well, not exactly, but kind of) I thought Blizzard should have done with Battle.net 2.0. I also find it interesting that Trion also have a sci-fi MMOFPS in the works, but haven't announced anything about it yet; and SOE has PlanetSide Next in the works, but has barely even announced its existence yet. I would be insanely amused (and heartened) if I discovered the two projects were one in the same. And if they're not; bully for free market competition, maybe? One hopes that two houses giving the concept another shot implies that the market's ready for it, as that remains my assessment of the comparitively lackluster success of PlanetSide when you look at it from a numbers perspective... |

I heard Planetside really took a dump with the BFR's. Supposedly they've learned from that mistake. |
