...has attacked me once again :(

Wondering if I should just bite the bullet and get the new 360 with the 250GB harddrive. Are the new versions more reliable / quieter / less prone to failing due to shitty hardware? The extra space would be nice to install games to, after installing Black Ops to my 20GB I love how quiet it is. Problem with the smaller drive is you can only get 1, maybe 2 games on there.

Well... they're supposed to be.

The new slims are definately quieter. I have a slim and the Red Xbox 360 Resident Evil 5 Elite bundle (this one http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/956/956877p1.html )(the only elite at the time with a guranteed zephyr? Whatever the newest board was) the slim is much much quieter than my RE5 Red bundle, much quieter. I havent had any issues with any of my xbox's yet, but never got one until the whole RROD was cleaning up with a guranteed new board.

Im not a fan of the touch button on the slims, but there not bad, starting to miss real buttons :( But I do have to say, I like my slim much much more than my Elite, quieter, less room and its not flipping Red or white!

Phenomenal deal on Slim 4gb currently at Wally world, no idea if you have a Wally world where you are at but damn good deal, or if this is valid for Canada either :(. 360 4gb + 2 controllers +3 month live card + $50 walmart gift card for $199, use the giftcard to get the 250gb drive for $50, so $249 for a 250 gb with an extra controller and 3 month live, cant beat it! Less than the 250 GB straight up and more items, I like deals :)

May just try adding the individual items, I cant find the combo deal on the Canada page.. See here for details on this deal from Slickdeals.

Had friends down in the city and couldn't resist, so I picked up the 250GB. No deal unfortunately but I won my original 360 in a contest, so I look at it like I've got 2 360's for the price of one.
