Eurogamer says yes!

Gearbox is officially keeping their lips zipped and refuses to confirm Eurogamer's source, but says that it loves Borderlands. So, no details yet, but EG seems pretty confident in their info.

Yeah, if that thing ever got released someone was going to have to eat a bullet. Fortunately, I think the strength of their other IP's will resurrect them, and now at least the Duke Nukem vaporware jokes are dead.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that Gearbox basically released DNF as 3DRealms' project, and planned on making their own Duke game later. Maybe I just choose to believe that.

From a mechanics point of view, sure. Duke Nukem Forever was mediocre as a shooter, but that's hardly the reason you play a Duke Nukem game. You play the game for Duke being Duke. If you don't understand that, you never will.

True. But DNF gave me exactly what I was expecting. It's hard to believe that anyone was expecting any different than what we got and then complain about it.

Anyway, I've said my piece on DNF and we should get back to talking about how awesome Borderlands 2 is going to be.

(not that I won't keep talking about if you want, but we should do so in another thread...like the DNF thread)
