How is there no thread for this? If you own a PS3 you should probably have this game.

I don't own a PS3.

If it was on 360, I'd get it.

Yup, I'm playing through it now. It's absolutely amazing, just like 2.

Still annoyed that Nathan Fillion is not being cast as Drake, it would be the most perfect casting ever.

Parts 1 and 2 never really hooked me but I'm 3 hours or so into UC3 (chapter 8?) and it's pretty great. Amazing visuals, I just want to leave the TV turned on while I do other ****.

The entire game is a very fun, cinematic experience. It really feels like you're playing a movie with how seamless the scene transitions and those kind of things are.

When I broke down and got a PS3 as my second Bluray player, I had planned on forever having an attach rate of 2.

Valkyria Chronicles was a game I actually wanted to support, and played a small role in swaying me to the PS3 as my Bluray player instead of a dedicated player. Uncharted 1 was the other game I had planned on buying.

It disappointed me, though -- I bought it based on people's good word of mouth and the notion of playing a Tomb Raider-esque game.

What I found was a game that I couldn't bring myself to finish the first 20 minutes of, since that was how long I could tolerate the sidekick or whatever sitting there telling me how to solve the "puzzles."

Uncharted isn't a puzzle game. Its a pulp action adventure where the "puzzles" are part of the story rather than something to hinder the player.

Uncharted 2 does a little more there but the series just really isn't for puzzle solvers.

And I think I'd be okay with that, Coren. But I don't need a guy sitting there yelling at me every 10 seconds, "We need to find a way to cross that pit!"

I just found myself yelling back at him "I know that, you jackass, this is clearly a linear game and that's the way I'm pointed. Now shut the **** up a minute while I figure out what piece of scenery I can press triangle in front of!"

Well if it makes you feel any better, they wait around for a quite a while in part 3 before dropping any hints. Usually until right after I say, "where the **** am I supposed to be going?"

Yeah, 1 was nowhere near as polished as 2 or 3. I'd rate 1 a 6 out of 10, while 2 and 3 are 9-10's.

3 is really filling the void for me that the 4th Indiana Jones movie failed to.

There was a fourth Indiana Jones movie‽ Why didn't anyone tell me? I love the Indiana Jones movies!

He's talking about the mythical perfect one that Lucas used to talk about making yet never did for some reason.

I'm pretty sure it was a fever dream I had while suffering from typhoid. There was Cate Blanchett as a nazi, a nuclear explosion, a refrigerator, and aliens.

Worst...fever dream...ever.

Also, that chase scene through the streets just rocked my world. This game is so good.

This game just kept me up too late on a school night.

Really, really good.

Also, that

Spoiler:
Poseidon Adventure ship capsizing level was amazing. Riding the elevator down the ship sideways was awesome, and when he shot out the glass.... good stuff.
