Well, you still have a few months before Mass Effect 3 at least.

Friends, we are gathered here today over the remains of our friend Lenas, to celebrate his life, to mourn his passing, and to ask the inevitable question when a person of his value passes on. "Can I have your stuff?"

I feel ya. Having the same problem.

Still trying to get as much as I can out of Assassins Creed Brotherhood, recently picked up Dead Island, never played Dead Rising 2 since Father's day, exploring all the add on content in Borderlands, installing Skyrim as I type this, looking forward to Assassin's Creed Revelations as an Xmas present likely and I STILL love playing Plants vs Zombies on the PC.

Slow, deep breaths. Take your time. We'll get through this together.

Lol that reminds me, I think I have 2 pieces of borderlands DLC I haven't even loaded up yet, still need to finish up gears of war 3, barely dented fallout new vegas... There's just not enough TIME gentlemen!

I've got all of these **** games AND I have Star Wars: The Old Republic as well. I liked it more when I was unemployed.

Yeah, I'm really glad I'm done with the MMO thing now.

Battlefield 3 and MW 3 are the same game, so that should save you some time there. ME3 isn't out till March. So its not as bad as all that really.

I guess it really depends on how thorough you are with your games. If you want to collect everything in an Assassin's Creed game, it can take quite a while. Skyrim is also another of those games that will take a really long time to finish because of how huge it is. And while I agree that MW3 and BF3 may as well be the same game, you play those for the multiplayer which is really no different from playing an MMO as far as time consumption goes. So yeah, there's 2 huge games that will take a while to complete and a multiplayer game that can eat up a lot of time. Then you have Uncharted 3 which can be beaten in an afternoon.

(I'm sure Skyrim and Assassin's Creed main story lines can be completed fairly quickly as well, but there is just so much more to those games than a standard action game like Uncharted 3)

I'm usually behind the curve save for the rare got to have it now deal (like preordering skyward sword) so I'm used to having a big backlog.

While this is true, no matter what your style of gaming, I'm pretty sure all of our free time is gone until after the new year, easy. :)

BF3 and MW3 are nowhere near the same game. Single player, maybe, but that's not what they're about.

Meh. FPS army game is FPS army game. The only major difference I see is BF3 has tanks and jets and helicopters, thus making it the choice to go with. MW3 is the same **** game as all of the CoD games that came before it, as far as I can tell.

How are they different? They're both Military FPS games that you play online. Its like a chocolate shake from Burger King, and a chocolate shake from McDonald's.

If you're a fan, they're vastly different, just like any genre. Someone who's not an RPG fan will look at skyrim and final fantasy and say "What's the big deal, they're both RPG games where you have to level your guy up and fight bad guys right? They're the same!"

I direct you to Basic Instructions:

I actually had to explain the difference between these two to someone in OChem on Friday.

ME3 is the only one of those listed games I'm waiting for.

Although I've got a cracked ISO of Skyrim I'll play around with for a few minutes before getting sick of it and uninstalling.

I am waiting for SWTOR and SC2:HotS.

I've been playing BF3 a lot. It's a great game and has been lots of fun, although not without its flaws. Since I just spent $60 on it I don't want to try other games yet.

This is like asking how Half Life is different from Quake.

You're comparing a franchise with generally highly regarded single player and frantic, fast multiplayer (CoD) to a game that is very light and boring on single player, with a rewarding, squad-based tactical multiplayer (BF).

So like a chocolate shake from McDonald's and an Oreo Blizzard from Dairy Queen.

They're both frozen treats, but one has cookies. ;)

So as a multiplaya hata, if I was to get one, it would be CoD?

Taken from multiplayer footage:

MW3:

BF3

I'd say they are very different. When it goes on sale I'll pick up MW3. I have the first MW and Black Ops. Played all the Battlefields. Two distinctly different styles of game. Watch 'em both in HD.
