Cool, but his outfit is looking more and more out of place as time goes on. That hood just screams "I'm different!" in the colonial period.

I think the outfit would probably be fine if it wasn't white, but you are right about the hood. I hope you can replace it with a tri-corner hat.

I'd probably pay for a tri-corner hat DLC. That applies to any game, though.

Isn't this like the 5th AC game?

They number the games based on the character you play as. So while Assassin's Creed 2 had 3 games to it, you were the same character in all three.

DS, thoughts? Lets play some Wolf Pack, man!

I started my 360 game last night, only had time to get back to where I had been on my hacked PS3 copy, which isn't very far. Sequence 2. I'm gonna start playing as soon as I get home from work, hopefully finally getting to play Connor, then I'm gonna jump on multiplayer.

So.... is it worth it, like AC2 was compared to AC1? Or is it more like AC:Revelations compared to AC2, read: new but lame.

The comparison of AC2 to AC1 and asking if this game holds the same ratio... AC3 would have to be one amazing game whose collector's edition comes with a free ____ job robot. AC1 was the most repetitive and boring game I've played in a long time, once you got past the first hour of "Wow this looks cool." Never mind the fact that the game spoils itself within the first 5 minutes, and that it thought sitting on a bench was a "fun idea."

My expectations of AC3 are not that high. My expectations of any game in comparison to AC2 (as if it were AC1) are not that high.

I would say that AC 3 improves upon 2 in the same amount that 2 improved upon 1. In the sense of how much sheer content seems to have been added on to an already established formula. I find the story of three so far to be the most intriguing of the bunch. The addition of guns is an interesting one, making for some very cool fighting/countering/enemy tactics. The naval battles are apparently amazing (though I haven't gotten that far yet) and the world seems massive.

I just started playing Connor and he's not yet an assassin, so I can't comment on side-questing much, but it seems like there will be a LOT.

I just finished Sequence 2, I have been playing this play through fairly linearly.I will be deleting my save and starting over now that I see that I will not be using Connor right away.

Why start over? It's not like you can miss anything. You can replay sequences any time.

Beat the storyline yesterday morning. Just under 20 hours and 55% completion. I'm having a hard time deciding which AC game is my favorite. I think Revelations had the most emotional storyline elements with combining Ezio and Altair, but AC3 just has so much content.

The biggest downside of the game in its entirety is that there aren't really that many assassinations. I would have liked to do some more murder planning.

Biggest downside to me on the X360 platform are the glitches. Too many glitches.

Otherwise, enjoying it so far.

Explain? I didn't run into any obvious glitches during my entire play through. Also on 360. Have you downloaded the two big patches?

I've been stuck, reload glitches, weapon glitches, all sorts of things honestly. I've downloaded all patches.

So I finished this over the weekend.

I have to say I was disappointed, overall. Now, I don't usually finish games, so it at least kept my attention there, but so many things were missing that made the previous editions fun, and the writing was relatively poor, in my opinion.

Frustrating. Still, a beautiful game and immersive.

Not my favorite way to end an Assassins Creed game... but I was entertained.
