So during my first run on Dragon Age Origins I saved before the big end of the various quest lines, and went back and took the other path after reloading, even for the ending. Anyone else do this, or just reserve other achievements for another play through?

Had about 83 or so hours on my first run, not counting going back to get other achievements...

I did this because...well, I have a difficult time playing an evil character, but I got tired of seeing my low overall 50% complete. So, on my second play, I did this. The one I'm having the most difficulty with is the last ending where I

Spare Loghain and have him kill the Archdemon at the end because I hate hurting Alistair's feelings causing him to leave. He's just such a nice guy and has a real reason for wanting Loghain dead. It's hard to deny him that. But I read that if you harden his emotions during his personal quest, he'll still leave the party, but he won't go off to sulk for the rest of his life and just become King instead. Gonna try that next time.

I am about to complete my first run through, I was woefully lacking on Alistair Faction, he's been sitting right about middle on the scale all along, despite the gift system.

I've gotten all but 4 of the origins (need to play elves and dwarves), heavy hitter, and... I think that's it. Oh, and level 20 mage and warrior, but I'll have the level 20 mage soon, and my wife is going to play a warrior, so there it is...
