No, it's nothing official. But a mod that someone has been working on for Starcraft II is finally available for download. Here's some gameplay of it. http://www.destructoid.com/starcraft-mm ... 5776.phtml |

Starcraft and Warcraft were the best RTSes of all time. (Homeworld would be third, for me.) WoW ruined the Warcraft storyline. odd, ain't it? The RTS had an awesome story, and the "RPG" killed it. So... I hope blizzard never considers an "official" Starcraft MMO. |

I'm fond of Dune 2, personally. Probably because it was pretty much the first type of game like that people had ever seen. Other games refined it, but they started it all. Plus it was cool seeing Arrakis from a different perspective. Few things caused panic as much as the words "Warning: Worm sign!" |

Not terribly odd, considering Blizzard should probably be owing Games Workshop a whole mess of cash. |

Or maybe Blizzard should just give everyone a big middle finger and buy Games Workshop... You know they could. |

Games Workshop is trying to use people who use the term "space marine". Perhaps Blizzard should get salty with them. |

Not to not harp on GW, I've been told that part of the GW price problem is that one government or the other classifies the minis as "fine art" and puts a high tariff on them. So Blizzard buying them might not help. It still might be a good idea, especially if we can convince blizzard that we need a guant's ghosts video game like Space Marine (since tHQ is gone under) |

Blizzard buying GW wouldn't matter much to US prices for GW products, mostly because GW has done it the way they've done it for 30-odd years, and they have no reason to change their structure now. As for Blizzard buying GW, that would seem somewhat unlikely. GW doesn't really do anything that Blizzard would have any interest in whatsoever, aside from stealing their worlds to make billions off their video games. |
