I'm not even sure Microsoft has a horse in that race. XP is the only MS operating system worth considering running on a netbook, and it's days are numbered. Unless you consider WinMo viable for such things.

It seems to me like Google, with Andriod and Chrome are the two top contenders for the ultra lightweight/netbook/handheld market, with Linux and WinMo bringing up the rear....

I guess I kinda wonder if Google isn't competing with itself here, especially with the blurring of the line between computer and handheld devices...

I am under the impression that Windows 7 has less overhead and uses less drive space than XP, making it rather ideal for a netbook.

I wonder what the EU is going to think about a OS that basically IS a browser? Didn't they kick Microsoft in the nuts over integrating the two a few years back ?
