So it's Logitech's version of the Naga?

Interesting. I've already got a mouse with preposterous quantities of buttons, but it's very nice to see the middle mouse button make a triumphant comeback and get separated back off the scroll wheel again...

I currently use a G500 on every computer i own. I love them passionately...

I've tried a Naga and found the software clumsy. I tried a Rat 7 (loaned from a friend) and didn't care for the button layout and feel.

The Logitech software just works. It's not perfect, but it's passable, and has the functionality I need in a simple UI.

I use the three thumb buttons on the G500 for 'Forward', 'Autorun', and 'Back', and use the two index finger buttons to summon/desummon mounts. Pretty much all of my movement options are available on my right hand.

I'd love to map some targeting stuff to the extra buttons on this G600.

I just checked Amazon, and it says "Usually Ships in 1-3 Months" :(

I'll definitely be checking this out.

I just swapped my RAT 7 in to my office, and upgraded to a RAT MMO or whatever they label it on my gaming computer. I'm looking forward to putting the hat switch, in particular, to work on Planetside, actually.

I love Logitech, but the 12-button thumb grid has me a little skeptical. Also, I'm disappointed to see that they co-opted one of the big buttons for the shift function. ;)

Those buttons look kinda small.

I like the idea of that third button as a shift key. It's sitting in a natural spot under a currently unused finger. Seems like the ideal way to increase button density without adding more buttons.

My point, though, is it's a spot I'd want to use as a button, itself. I don't really like shift keys on my mice.

Trippin balls 'skee, the Logitech MX is one of the most comfortable mice on the planet and I lament that I do not have one.

So, apparently the G600 is shipping now.

I pre-ordered on Logitech's site and got a shipping notification and they charged the card.

Amazon still showing 1-3 months though...

Check that... Amazon has updated their expected delivery time to (2-4 weeks)...
