The Glade 4.0

I'm thinking about picking up a tablet for my Luddite parents for Christmas. The trouble is that they have no internet connection at their house (I KNOW, RIGHT?), so they'd need a tablet with its own data service. They both have Android phones, so they're familiar (or, at least, as familiar as they're going to get) with the OS.

The Nexus 7 seems like it'd be perfect, except for not offering a cell connection (same with the Kindle Fire). I'd prefer to get them an iPad, but as they're already ingrained in an ecosystem, it'd probably be best to just keep on keeping' on.

Also, preferably the tablet would run on Verizon...they have Verizon cell phones that seem to have sufficient coverage there.

I just read that Amazon it about to release a new Kindle Fire 2, one of which will be 4G.. might be worth looking in to.

The Windows tablets should be out by the holidays, so they might be an option, although probably not 'cheap'.
