I mostly use the 360 for watching Netflix and occasionally XFinity stuff (rarely).

I also have a PC connected to the that I occasionally use to stream my Slingbox to the same TV that my 360 is connected to. Id like to free up the HDMI connection from the PC to the TV for a second monitor.

Anyone know if there is (or will be soon) a sling app for the 360?

Edit: it occurs to me that I haven't explored Internet Explorer functionality on the new 360 dashboard yet. I wonder if the web Slingplayer would work?

I'll have to give this a try next time I'm over there.

The new IE functionality is annoying and downright klunky without Kinect or some means of interacting other than the Controllers. I think it was intended to be paired with SmartGlass.

Actually, smartglass would be ok (as long as it works) as I usually have my N7 and my phone handy...

No controller has ever been good for any browser control. It was definitely made with SmartGlass and Kinect in mind.

Hrm... everything was just peachy, right until it tried to connect to my slingbox.

Edit: And apparently this Filtering cannot (currently) be disabled...
