I was speaking with my teacher friend earlier today after seeing him at work earlier in the week. I overheard him taking with the school IT guy about his Chromebook so I made it a point to ask him about it later.
He ended up telling me how he's running all his assignments off Google drive/docs this year since all his students have laptops. He shares the files, the students make copies and share them back. If he's running a presentation, it's available on drive for later review.
I was rather impressed. I had wondered for a while what was the point of having laptops was if you still have to print out and hand in so much paper stuff. So I'd thought I'd share as I'd never heard of the being done at the HS level before.
