The Glade 4.0

Anticipation can be great when you're anticipating a lot of things, but a new laptop isn't one of them. I had to order this one and I've waited a week! It's almost like when I was a kid and it was Christmas!

My old one is more than 7 years old. I'll keep it, let it serve up iTunes and drive space.

Well, what the heck is it already? Show us the goods!

It's a MBP, but that's not really important. What's important is the fact that there is still something inside that still responds to toys and games and bright shinies no matter how many years go by.

Used to be, all it took was a new pair of tennis shoes to brightened the eyes. Not so much anymore, but SOMETHING does, and that's a good thing, I think.

Yeah, I know the feeling. New toys are fun at any age, as long as you don't spoil yourself. Apple does a lot for the user experience to enhance that too, as much as I hate to admit. Getting an iPad on Christmas a few years ago (as a complete surprise) gave me a similar feeling, and it's probably my favorite "toy" these days.
