| Post subject: | Clean Vista reload |
So I decided not to use the recovery partition; but everything I am reading lists a clean reload of windows vista as being a lot more complicated than anything previous. Anyone have any tips? or is it a simple "drop in the OS disk, boot to it.. delete the recovery partition and the main partition and recreate those drives and GO!" I am trying to get this done within the next day so I can continue my class on Friday night. |

More complicated? News to me. Go for it. The mechanics of what Vista installs is more complicated, in some ways, but it's completely transparent to the user. |

If you are going to reload the OS, why not upgrade to.W7? |

I'm not sure that, in itself, works. I was looking at the Windows 7 page to see how that $30 deal worked, because one of the faculty members had asked about it. |
