I got the Monolith on Sunday. Traded in my S3 for it when I realized my S3 was over a year old now, and the Note 3 is the 3rd generation of phone beyond it. (S3, Note2, S4, Note3). Initial impression is it is freaking amazing. Its fast, has a huge battery (27 hours now, and I have 30% left), fast, gorgeous screen, S-Pen functionality, fast, IR transmitter for TV controlling, ANT+ integration(although nothing really supports that yet), and did I mention fast?

Downside? Yeah, its almost comically huge. But its no worries, I have big paws. And its hugeness is actually something I wanted so I could do remote desktop work and have the pen functionality. Its still too new to have been rooted yet, and there is a dearth of accessories available for it.

Heh. There's no "almost" about its comically hugeness. Heck, I'm a bit hesitant to get the upcoming Nexus 5 because of its size.

I'm currently using the HTC One.

I'm fairly certain it's the best smartphone device I've ever owned (or used for that matter).

It's the perfect size, buttery smooth operation, and the UI layout is spectacular.

My only minor gripe is that the back of the alumunum case is slicker'n owl shyt, and the thing keeps trying to turn itself into a projectile.

I was able to solve this problem for $7 using this low profile case.
