So I thought buying a wireless adapter for $100 was a bit of a ripoff. So instead I bought a router for $40, installed the DD-WRT firmware, set it up to be a client that connects to my main router, and put the client router downstairs by my XBox360 and plugged my XBox into that client router. Good luck. I hope that firmware is more stable than it was a year or so ago. I used it to build a wireless bridge and it was.. terrible. Drop outs, latency, etc... Keep us posted with how well it works... |

I've been using DD-WRT for the last couple years. I have yet to have to cycle that router. I came close to bricking it getting it set up, but that's beside the point. In any case, I bought a used (or maybe refurb?) 360 adapter for like $49. No issues to date. |

Still seems to be working fine. Watched some stuff on Netflix via the XBox last night and it worked great with no issues. |

Just an update that it still seems to be working fine. I played CoD4 online and had no issues, and had a good connection. |
