If this creation leads to the discovery of monopoles existing naturally, what could we ever hope to harness from it? Would new inventions be possible, or would it just open up new avenues for the theoretical? I am not sure, between this discovery and the one where they discovered atomic bonds forming in the inner electrons of atoms (cesium triflouridium) everything we know about the basic forces of the universe just shifted.
