I'm sitting on 20 invites. PM me where you want one sent.

I don't know what I'd do with a Google Wave account, but I wouldn't mind playing around with it.

The invites aren't immediate, but you should receive them before the day is out, I'm sure.

I too just got hit with a bunch of available invites (25), so if you want one, PM me with your email addy.

Edit: Khross, did you ever get your invite? It's been showing in my "invites sent" for a while, but I never received notification that you'd accepted.

I have 8 invites, and I have no clue WTF Wave even is used for.

Even people who've had it for a while are still figuring that out, really.

If you go look at some of the stuff being done with it, a lot of it is experimental; some of it is just shoehorning what it's kind of similar to into wave (IMing, message boards, IRC, blogging), which is mostly effective, but not really efficient or ends up being overkill. Some of it is really innovative, though, and trying to evolve the way online conversations, collaborations, and communication takes place.

It's actually kind of exciting.

I was noticing an app in the android market store and it got me curious.

So, how are folks liking this?

I was thinking about begging an invite, but I'm not sure I know anyone else using it.

I can send you one. Just shoot me the email addy you'd like to use as your login. I don't think they're guaranteed acceptances yet, but there shouldn't be a problem.

Invites I've sent out has been approved within 24 hours of sending them out.

Thus far in my testing I'm a bit underwhelmed by Google wave. But we'll see.

Honestly, I forget about it. Whether by its design or my personal usage, it just hasn't ingratiated itself into my life.

Wave has such amazing potential, but without people that understand it and have a purpose to work with you in it, it will never be met.

People still don't "get" it.
