Can I still share? Also, can I set it so others can download it?

I don't think YouTube supports downloads, but yes they will give you a link to share. As far as I know Vimeo also doesn't offer downloads.

If you just want people to download a video, just upload it to something like Dropbox. If you want people to watch a video, upload it to YouTube.

Or you could go with something like Mega.co.nz

but srs nothing you should be sharing should be that big. Even HD 2.5hr movies are a smaller size than what you're talkin' about.

It is about 1/2 an hour in 4k. Came out to 5 GB. Going to re-render it in 1080 and 720 and see if it shrink dinks down.

Jesus H. Tap-Dancing Christ. 4k? I'm surprised it's already only that big for 30 minutes.

Vimeo will A) do a compression for you, B) allow you share however you want, and C) offer download links for the original file. Need the paid account, though ($10/mo).

I lied. 1080p is 5 GB. I think the GoPro rendering software might not be compressing it properly. So, good free video editing/compression software anyone? :D

Handbrake.

Handbrake, Handbrake, Handbrake.

Or MPEG Streamclip.

Either are great for compression, both are free. MPEG Streamclip lets you set in and out points, if you want some rudimentary editing capability.

Google Drive is another option for sharing.
