I'm wondering if anyone here has copied copyright dvds before, and if so how did they achieve this?

I have an older dvd player in my den that refuses to play one disk out of a box set. The disk will play in my dvd player in the bedroom, so I know the disk is good.

I'd also like to make a copy of an older game I have. It would be very hard to replace, and it gets a lot of use.

Any suggestions?

I used to use a program called anydvd to rip and remove copy protection. Imgburn to put .iso files on a new disk.

Some folks love handbrake too....

I haven't done any burning in years, so not sure what else might be out there.

DVD Decrypter. I've yet to met the disc it couldn't rip.

Excellent for making backups of your DVD's so the kids don't trash them.
