My wife got this for my birthday/Christmas. I am quite enjoying it so far. There's a Lollipop update that is supposed to be out to all watches today, but mine has yet to get it. I've kept my eye on the android wear stuff for a while but it was the round face of the Moto that was its biggest attraction to me. I have yet to use it a full day but I am already seeing how it will change my life. It's nice to be able to look at the time, weather, google now notifications, IMs, hangouts, email, and who is calling all from my wrist. I am not into the fitness stuff, but I guess it's nice to know it's there. The two big things for me are the integration with GPS navigation and music. I use those two things quite often in my car (98% of the time my music is being streamed from my phone). I never cared to buy a dock for my phone, I just generally sit it next to my gearshift. Since I drive with my left hand at 12 o'clock most of the time, I can just glance at my wrist for the nav or do a quick tap to pause or navigate songs. More playing will happen over the next few days and more apps will be installed and uitilized, but so far I'm a happy camper. |

I'm having fun with my LG G Watch R. I really like the available faces. The L update has an API (finally), so we should see a lot more faces available on the market soon. I don't use it for anything except getting notifications for texts and emails and such, and of course telling time, but it's fun so far. |

I received a Moto 360 for Christmas, and I'm liking it. It isn't something that I'm constantly poking at, and it doesn't replace my phone, but it does act as a supplement. The new update allows me to reply to messages directly from the watch without pulling out my phone. I had an issue last night where I put the watch on to charge (at 62%), and this morning the watch was at 2%. Even I hadn't touched the charger, it wouldn't charge the phone until I unplugged it and connected the power cable again. I hope this doesn't happen regularly, but I do need to make sure the indicator lights up before leaving the phone overnight. |
