Watched the launch from our back balcony. It was a beautiful night launch; orange and white flames were surrounded by a dim purple aura. Unfortunately all the cell phone video shows is a tiny white dot.

(Saw the exploded one in June too. Not as beautiful.)

No, clouds were in and out that night. At 100 miles out we're usually just able to see stage 1 boosters on whatever goes up, anyway.
