I'm not seeing it. In context, it's pretty clear that he was asking that sardonically, for effect, not seriously asking if the Internet was a good thing in general. At most, he seems to be questioning whether the Internet has been good for national security. |

I've said for over a decade that "The internet is simultaneously the greatest and worst invention in the history of mankind." It's not only helped make incredible advances, but it's also help bring about the "dumbening" of humankind. |
