I've got a student discount from the school bookstore for Windows 7. I figured I might want to use it.

Would it work on the laptop I have? I found specs here:

Windows 7 runs much, much better than Vista, given the same hardware.

Your laptop will work wonderfully.

Testing 7 Pro on a works laptop at the minute and if you're using it in anger (several telnet sessions, couple of Office apps, multi tab IE8 and Firefox sessions running java apps and errrr Youtube :)) you'll need 2gig ...
