I am finding that I am having issues getting the GPS functionality to work quite often. Anyone know if this is just a **** up with the phone... or if this is a known bug with Android? I know there seems to be some erm... reported problems with 2.1 it seems. |

It's (probably) not Android, at least not generally speaking. It could be something specific to the android build for your specific phone. I have issues with the GPS on my Galaxy S/Vibrant occasionally. Nothing that I can't live with until the patch comes out (due in a few weeks). I'd do some googling for your specific handset model and "GPS" and see what you find. You might also call customer service. I can't speak for Sprint, but T-Mo CS folks have a "known issues" list for all of the handsets they sell. |

Did you trying using google maps gps navigation? Just wondering if the issue is the phone/gps receiver itself, or if it's sprint's gps app, I know google maps gps works fine on my phone, but I never tried the sprint one. |

I need to try google maps... but in order to get foursquare to find me I need to jump through hoops. And I have been unable to get Sprint Navigation to find me worth a **** all. And Weather Apps seem to have issues until I connect to wifi.. and then I am apparently in LA... |
