I've had the opportunity to play with one, and to be honest, it's not really much of an upgrade over say, the Vibrant. It is the first 'official' 2.3 (gingerbread) build out there, which is a definite plus.
It lacks HSPA+, it has the sames screen and camera features as the Vibrant (which are good!), and it has a generic 1gz snapdragon processor (which is fine, but not the dual core many hoped for).
Upsides are the 2.3 stock google build, and the fact that it's unlocked out of the box.
I'm going to stick with my Vibrant running 2.2 for now, until something comes along that blows my socks off.
I guess it depends on what you are upgrading from.
So far the only phone that's tempted me to replace my Vibrant has been the T-Mobile G2, mainly because it has a slide out keyboard, and HSPA+. So far I've resisted the urge to get one.
