Ok, I now there must be a way of doing this. I usually download videos with realplayer to show at school because youtube is blocked. I want to take some of those videos and upload them to my Blog for the kids to watch at home. I know how to convert from one type to another. I use this converter called Hamster. I also know how to rip the audio from the video, but I don't know how to crunch the video to make it a smaller file, because when I upload it to my BLOG I always get the message it is to large of a file. I need to know If there is way to do this?

The video is 50.64MB

What format are you converting to? You can use windows movie maker (free) and change the resolution size, that will significantly reduce the size of the file.

MPEG Streamclip should help.

Also try Handbrake.

It is in FLV format, but I never thought of making it a WMV file to shrink. I'll try that and then use the two Farsky sent. I'll keep you posted as how it will go.

Thank you
