Ok, I now there must be a way of doing this. I usually download videos with realplayer to show at school because youtube is blocked. I want to take some of those videos and upload them to my Blog for the kids to watch at home. I know how to convert from one type to another. I use this converter called Hamster. I also know how to rip the audio from the video, but I don't know how to crunch the video to make it a smaller file, because when I upload it to my BLOG I always get the message it is to large of a file. I need to know If there is way to do this? The video is 50.64MB |

What format are you converting to? You can use windows movie maker (free) and change the resolution size, that will significantly reduce the size of the file. |

MPEG Streamclip should help. Also try Handbrake. |

It is in FLV format, but I never thought of making it a WMV file to shrink. I'll try that and then use the two Farsky sent. I'll keep you posted as how it will go. Thank you |
