I never minimize single windows.. It's either all or nothing, and for the nothing part, Win+D works wonderfully. |

I only have a single monitor at work so I frequently have to minimize just one window to get at a couple others behind it. I'm pretty good at laying things out in such a way that some part of the window is visible to click it to the foreground. But every once in a while that's not the case. |
