Just a heads up to anyone else using freenas as a media server, they took out all the media streaming protocols in the new 8 version (apparently development was taken over by a more "serious" company.) So if you require that functionality, it's not currently there in 8. They're talking about potentially making it available as installable plugins down the road, but right now, nada. |
