It's not just the graphic (skins), it's also the animations that make it look realistic. Surely they've made advancements in that technology as well, but that is where the realism is going to come from. |

The animations are procedurally generated, not motion capture--makes for very realistic cool looking tackle animations. Every tackle is unique. They need to use this technology in some games worth playing though, not sports games :p |

Maybe it's just a quirk of the specific images they chose, but I laughed at 2006 and 2007. Real is brown. |
