I don't. I get annoyed by the slightest thing on the windshield of my car. I wash the windows before driving and stop and clean off any bug splatter if it happens. The gauges and gps I already have are enough. The picture above just looks like it would be distracting. |

The features look cool, but all together look cluttered. I'm sure you can turn off certain options. |

I'm skeptical. I've had a car with a minimal HUD before (speedometer); the image was rendered viewable by projecting it onto a specially treated section of the window glass. That treated section resulted in the cost of the front glass being ~6 times as expensive as a normal piece of glass. Projecting the HUD onto non-treated glass resulted in significant ghosting of the image as the light hit both the inside and outside surfaces of the glass. It was also nigh-invisible in the daytime. I'm not sure how usable a full-window HUD is going to be on untreated glass in daytime, or whether a better means now exists of treating glass such that it provides a good HUD image without causing excessive dimming of needed light during night driving (that block for the speedometer in my car was a lot darker than the rest of the glass). Still, I'm hopeful that something like this does get developed, because they're pretty cool. |

All new technologies suck at the beginning. The first airplane was a piece of **** and could barely make it to the end of a runway, much less cross the Atlantic full of hundreds of people while streaming Youtube to some kid's iPad. |

Guiding line and virtual road signs would be amazing (how often do you pass signs at night without having been able to read them?). Wouldn't be too stoked about seeing business signs on my windshield, but I'm sure all of this is still just in tech-demo stage, showing what it can do. |

Speed limit signs would be good, as long as they weren't a distraction... I am forever missing those. Heck I would be happy if Google Nav would add a small 'Current Speed' and 'Speed Limit' display option like my old Garmin had. I miss that. I'm tall, and sitting in a normal position, it's impossible to see my speedometer because it's obstructed by the top of the steering wheel. I got in the habit of looking at my Garmin GPS 'Current Speed' display until I retired it in favor of my phone using Google Nav. |

Yes, if the graphics were very good and they adapted smoothly and accurately and looked natural, and it was highly customizable, I could definitely see myself paying upwards of a $10k premium to have this if I was buying a $40-50k luxury/sports car....as long as I could turn it off and vision of the road was not otherwise impaired (more glare, less clarity, etc) and it was not easily damaged or something that would have to be replaced every few years. Now they just need to add a feature to record and capture vehicle information, make model color liscense plate number and demographic of the driver so I can mark which drivers are douchebags and which ones are easy to pass, etc... |
