I'm stumped. I can't figure this out. I dunno how many Kindle users there are here, or who might have tech knowledge of this, but I figured I'd toss it out there.

So, due to the braingasm I had at Colphax's post in the 'what are you reading' thread, I did some searching and found that the book isn't available on Kindle directly from Amazon, but it said the publisher was Baen Books. That rang a bell, and sure enough, it was the incredibly consumer-friendly publishing house Taamar mentioned a while back.

Jebus, why am I sourcing this thing like a friggin' term paper?

Anyway, I went and found the ebook for purchase on their site. I downloaded the MOBI file, connected my Kindle Fire (hi there, little Ember!) via USB, and dropped the MOBI file into the 'Books' folder.

I went ahead and purchased the second book in the series since it was only $6 as well, and did the same.

Here's where my anal-retentiveness comes in.

The first book, Hard Magic, went into the 'Docs' section of my Kindle. Not quite surprised...whenever I've purchased a non-Amazon ebook, it's gone into that section. A little OCD bothersome, but fine. I'd kinda just resigned myself to that being the location for those kinds of ebooks. But then I dropped book two, Spellbound into the same 'Books' folder...

...and lo and behold, the little bastard showed up in the 'Books' section.

This is going to cause me no end of grief.

Any idea how to get these two crazy kids together? I'd love for them to both fall into 'Books,' but I'd settle for them both being in the same place, even if that place is 'Docs.'

You went off the beaten path and into the Wilderness by not buying the book through Amazon's store.

So I assume that when the same thing happened with Nook because they inexplicably didn't have book 7 (but had books 6 and 8) of "The Dresden Files" and I had to purchase it from Barnes & Nobles' very own sister site Fictionwise (owned by B&N) and the same thing happened...what? :P

Baen is awesome. However, I have no information for you on folder management on Kindle. They're all in one folder on mine.
