So all of that is for vocals? That's a serious vocal setup! I just bought a US-1800 to record our full drum kit/band with live, and it's been working GREAT so far. For audio DAW programs, I recommend checking out reaper as well - http://www.reaper.fm I recently upgraded to the full version, (the demo version is uncrippled as well, just a nag screen before startup) and I've been really impressed, recorded 9 simultaneous tracks last practice without a hitch. |

The US- 1800 came with cubase LE - 5, I upgraded to cubase 6 elements for $99.00; The upgrade gives me 32 bit floating point effects with 24bit sampling. I recorded at their last practice live, not the best environment with all the cabinets pointing towards the mikes, but here's one anyway. Forgot to mention I added a Samson Live! 615 - 300watt PA cabinet as a stage monitor for lead vocals. It's great for bonfires too with a tiny mp3 player hooked up to it. |

Looks like my son landed a terrific job making big bucks. So much for that band, for now. Thinking of recording for a fee, or tinkering with the ultimate karaoke disaster. |
